First UMC Child Development Closure Days
Below are the specific days when the CDC will be closed during the 2026/2027 school year.
We follow the KISD bad weather policy. If they close for bad weather, we do too. We are open during the summer and KISD's Spring Break period with the exception of any holidays listed below in Closure Days.

September 7th, 2026 - Labor Day
October 12th, 2026 – Columbus Day
November 11th, 2026 – Veteran’s Day
November 26th & 27th, 2026 – Thanksgiving Holiday
December 24th & 25th, 2026 – Christmas Holiday
December 31st, 2026 – New Year’s Eve
January 1st, 2027 – New Year’s Day Holiday
January 18th ,2027 – Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
February 15th ,2027 – President’s Day
March 26th, 2027 – Good Friday
May 31st ,2027 – Memorial Day
June 18th ,2027 – Juneteenth
July 5th, 2027 – Independence Day
